Location
The Archives are located in the Hi Tech Village 3/4 at the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University on Giv'at Ram.
How to reach the Archives
By bus
- Public Transportation: Egged Bus No. 68 or No. 7
Bus route: Givat Ram, Kfar Hi-tech (last bus stop) - Bus no. 68 runs from the Hebrew University at Mount Scopus through the Central Bus Station to the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University on Givat Ram, where we are located.
Bus no. 7 runs through downtown Jerusalem to the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University on Givat Ram. - In the parking lot next to the final bus stop, there is a path between buildings 2/2 and 2/3 and stairs that go down to our building. The entrance is on the right hand side of the building.
By car
- Entry by car directly to the Archives is possible for holders of permits from the University or upon receipt of a temporary permit from the Archives.
To receive a temporary permit, please call or send us an e-mail request in advance of your visit. - Use WAZE to reach the archives by writing "Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People".
- Park your car on the big parking lot. There is a path between buildings 2/2 and 2/3 and stairs. The building at the very bottom of the stairs is the Archives’. The entrance is on the right hand side of the building.
Access directions for people with limited mobility
- Once you enter via the main entrance to the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University on Givat Ram and pass the security check point, continue along "Derech Balfour".
- Turn down the second road on your right. This is a one-way road, surrounding the high-tech village.
- Park your car near the sign on the building that says sign that reads 3/3. Continue to walk to the end of this building and the path will lead you to building 3/4 The Central Archives.

- The Archives are open Sundays through Thursday from 8:15 - 15:15
